Terms and Conditions Agreement
Welcome to La Charcuterie Bouffe’! Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before completing your booking and payment.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking and making payment, the Hirer agrees to these terms and conditions, which act as a legal contract between La Charcuterie Bouffe’ (the Owner) and the Hirer.
The Hirer acknowledges that La Charcuterie Bouffe’ will not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the use of the Equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, negligence, personal injury, property damage, or any indirect or consequential damages.
It is recommended that the Hirer retains a copy of these terms for their records.
Equipment Hire
Cleaning Requirements:
The Equipment must be cleaned after use and ready for collection on the agreed Collection Date.
If the Equipment is not cleaned, a $50 cleaning fee will be deducted from the bond, unless otherwise stated.
Delivery, Setup, and Collection Fees:
Delivery, setup, and collection fees apply unless the Hirer opts for self-collection and return.
Payment Terms:
The Hirer must pay 100% of the Hire Fee by the due date outlined in the invoice.
A $100 refundable bond is required for each hire period. The bond will be refunded once the Equipment is returned in the same condition and satisfactorily cleaned.
If cleaning or repair costs exceed the bond amount, the Hirer will be required to pay the additional costs.
Damage to Equipment:
If the Equipment is damaged, the Hirer must:
Notify the Owner immediately with written details of the damage and its cause.
Follow the Owner’s directions regarding the storage or handling of damaged parts.
Pay for repair or replacement costs if the damage resulted from the Hirer’s negligence or breach of these terms.
The Hirer is responsible for all risks associated with the Equipment during the Hire Period, from delivery to the return of the Equipment.
Condition of Equipment:
Equipment is hired “as is,” in the condition provided on the Delivery Date/Time.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by the Owner:
The Owner may cancel the agreement with written notice if:
Payments are not made on time.
The Hirer breaches any terms of the agreement.
Cancellations by the Hirer:
If the Hirer cancels, the following applies:
14+ days before the event: Full refund within 48 hours.
5-7 days before the event: 25% of the total booking fee will be charged; the remainder will be refunded.
Less than 72 hours before the event: No refunds will be issued.
In case of unforeseen circumstances, the Hirer may receive a credit valid for 12 months. If unused, the credit will be forfeited.
Definitions of Damage
Damage includes, but is not limited to:
Stains on the Equipment.
Damage from exposure to rain or direct sunlight.
Structural damage from improper or malicious use.
Damage caused by pets (e.g., soiling or chewing).
Acknowledgment
By making payment, the Hirer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions for Equipment hire.
